Origins and Early Days
Juventus was founded in Turin by a group of students from the Massimo d'Azeglio Lyceum. The club's initial focus was on track and field, but they soon added football to their repertoire. In 1900, Juventus changed its name to Foot-Ball Club Juventus and became a member of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
